This question from the apostle’s was a sincere one. Jesus then said to them, “blessed are your eyes because they see & your ears because they hear - for truly I say to you that many prophets & righteous men desired to see what you see & did not see it & hear what you hear and & not hear it”. A couple of years from this very moment, Jesus would stand before Pontius Pilate who would ask about His “kingship”. Jesus will answer him by saying, "everyone who is of the truth hears my voice" & Pilate would then say, "what is truth"?
