Acrylic paintings, taken on my blue desk. The third table was made by my father, which underwent changes, by me.
Inspired by photos I took in the Gilboa area in 2007.
On the table are the inspiration photos printed in a size suitable for me at the time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Through the past, facing the present and the future.
Between me and myself... and probably between you as well.
And so later I organize materials for inspiration on my personal tablet. Let's say photographs. It turns out that there are unwanted viewers, who were certainly not invited to access my personal content.
Can I download to my tablet.. my computer my laptop, and personal photos, for any purpose including drawing, without others watching me? It turns out not. And of course, I can't agree to peep into my private life.
Can I look at someone else's photos, without others looking at me? Embarrassing and will embarrass me when people peep at me, or my loved ones, especially since we never allowed it. And we weren't asked either.
A decision was made here a long time ago, which does not suit me. If in the past I could look at a picture for a second, two minutes, or hours, without anyone looking at me, that's how it should be. I will not suffer embarrassment from voyeurism and obsession, therefore I will not be able to look at inspirational photos on the screen for a long time when people look at me.
My sources of inspiration must be mine only, and not the public domain. So are all my actions in the privacy of my life. Unless I chose to share. It's naturally rare for two to choose to do the same thing unless there are massive espionage and nefarious instructions overruled.
Perhaps instead of moving forward, we should go back in working methods, in order to prevent voyeurs during work. And in general.
It should be noted that the last paintings I drew in my studio were inspired by photographs on the tablet, a subject for voyeurism, too bad.
I did not photograph those paintings nor did I upload them due to the frantic spying on my life.
There is no doubt that I have to photograph everything, without strangers watching me.
And personal photos are just as important.
And by the way... compared to all the years of my creation... the last paintings, I did without music at all, but enjoying the silence, and maybe for another reason.
May we enjoy the freedom of secure privacy.
Love & Peace.
Hi Nira. These paintings crossed my path and you have made them your own. I see the whole process from beginning to end. You are a good designer. - Rabs
