Folks in Conan Doyle's day were amazed by his fictitious creation, the consulting detective. We won't even mention his name as everyone around the world probably knows it. There have been so many movies, TV series, etc. But he was just using his eyes to see things that most of us miss. There were no supernatural powers and nothing that could not be explained away by logic. Have we made a mockery of Doyle's creation over the years? Well, a purist would more than suggest that we have. This is what we do with most things we deem to make popular for sake of making money. This is a 6.5 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium weight acid-free paper. Did I mention Original Jones Art and northwest Austin, Texas? I have a theory that if you aggrandize garbage everything BECOMES garbage and you then require an army of folks to tell you why their garbage isn't garbage at all. Sooner of later though, the truth will out. It always does in the end.

My power of observation says this is another cool work by Charles : )

Artist Reply: Thanks, Dave! Yeah, we artists have to keep busy and if we are diligent maybe we might leave the world a little bit better. Every little bit helps, I think. :)
