When the weather permits, and even when it doesn't, I like to set up an easel or just pull out a canvas and paint the scene right in front of my eyes. Plein air painting is not for everyone, but for the few of us that like to be in the elements and paint from life...its a pure pleasure. When nature is your studio, the artist is truly in their perfect place.
