I love the spectacular sparkle of sunlight on the horizon as illuminated by vegetation--even if un-Earth-like. Acrylic/mixed media on illustration board, 6.5" x 9"; 1996.

You know, I just had to stop when I saw this piece. Whether it was rendered abstractly or in just the manner you did, it stops you in your tracks. That is a beautiful use of positive and negative space. I wish I could see it in person, I feel like I'm missing a lot of the subtleties and nuances of the image. -j.Christine brand 02 Aug 2005
