8x10 Acrylic paint pen on canvas board. Actually the inspiration for this piece was a lone cedar that stands near the entrance of the golf course across the street. I focused more on the loneliness of it rather than trying to stay true to a particular type of tree. In the end it seemed to be more of an oak than a cedar, thus the name, "Lonely Oak."
