It could be said that those with fiery personalities burn their bridges with their crossing. It could be said they have a tendency to burn those around them. Well, when you get down to it, there's always something that can/could be said. Humans are like that. I had been saving this back to upload on the last day of the month but as AW has decided, in their collective infinite wisdom, to no longer update their social media sites with images from the top 25 point earners, I decided not to. Makes one wonder why folks are still giving a (#*&$% about points in general, doesn't it? This is a 7 by 5.5 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil on medium bond acid-free paper. Yeah, it's Original Jones Art doing what he does between the minutes he's doing what he doesn't here in northwest Austin, Texas.

Huh? AW isn't updating the social media sites with the top 25 point earners??? I was just featured and placed on several of the sites. I'm not a social butterfly so didn't know they did away with that benefit and maybe they only display the featured artists? Regardless, your image here is really great. He looks a bit inquisitive to me. Maybe because AW changed their practice.

Artist Reply: Well, their FB page hasn't a new member image since October 12th. And the only thing added since was a plug for 2022 custom calendars. I do mostly vertical images which doesn't work well with their calendar format, unfortunately. I queried them about it; I even uploaded an image myself---which they promptly deleted. So I put this 'feeler' out to anyone who might read my little missives. If you've been featured, Ginger, it wasn't on FB, I assure you. Pinterest? Instagram? Shrug.

He is now starting to show a personality of his own,,he's so complex,at times I see him as a Mr.Potatoe Head,other times ,some sort of an escaped Bird,a Robot,& even a Alien Creature,,,,always interesting what you post,,Charles ,we like your Artistry of this ,,,GUY,,,

Artist Reply: You continue to speak as though they are all one individual, Al. Facets of all of us maybe, but all very different. I take the pen where it wants to go and am delighted when it actually gets there. I free it from the bondage of genre and misplaced homage or just out-in-out rip-off. You could say my work and I complement each other--in a complimentary way. :)

Artist Reply: You could come up with the first 3D tattoo and make a lot of money, Dave. My bird as a chin ornament beats a lot of )(&# art coming from Tatt parlors. Now if folks start doing multi-colored stripes down their neck, over their eyelids or down the side of their noses, then you know I've made the 'big' time. :)
