Yukata is the Japanese name for the kimonos used as casual wear that are made of cotton (rather than the silk that is used for more formal kimonos) and that are worn during warmer seasons. They often make use of the beautiful indigo and white print patterns that the Japanese are famous for, as I have pictured here. As I sometimes do, I have made my artist signature an integral part of the design of the painting.
