Here is one of my latest iPhone shots of my favorite spot at Horn Pond in Woburn, Massachusetts. The water is a little bit higher than normal as the all of the ice form the frozen pond has melted. When I'm here, all of my troubles seems to go away. Even though the busy road isn't too far away, it's still far enough away so that I only hear the water and the birds singing. I easily get lost here and I become one with nature.

Beautiful shot Rick. I love the water. It is so calming.

Artist Reply: Cheryl, I agree. It is so calming and I am so blesse to have this beautiful pond just 10 minutes from my home where I can come here and escape the hustle and bustle of a big city. When I'm here, I just get lost and become one with nature.

Rick,I can sure see why this is one of your favourite spots it's,a place you can be with your thoughts, away from any distractions, it most of all just look at this paradise, this Oasis, listen to those song birds ,it's a wonderful place to be.,I know I have one & I cherish it,,,like the words to Charles on Two faced.

Artist Reply: Al, thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to view my photo, it means a lot to me. This is such a special place for me, I have a spot I like to go by the water, it's a mini vacation away from civilization - even if it is for just a brief moment. Thank you again!!!

Place looks ideal.

Artist Reply: Larry, thank you! It's so peaceful here. I just love sitting on that fallen tree and listening to the water and the birds sing. Every now and then, a deer or two walk by. It's a great spot to just get away.
