March of Robots 16th 2020

#MarchOfTheRobots2020 Continuing Earth's safety, an Transforming Giant Robot named Ranger-Z was designed by Dr. Eishert; who couldnt bear his newest Military Design Colleague. However, Dr. Douglas couldnt help but #Smile, as he's always been missunderstood, his IQ measuring far beyond genius....................................................................................................This is the beginning of as story called 'Grind Gear' about a unlikely Odd couple of scientist who just DO NOT see eye to eye at all. they couldnt possibly differ more as one is old, the other young; one decorated and proven, the other new and just starting. together they are tasked to make a secondary giant robot to assist with the protection of Earth from land based threats, as the older dr Eishert's (lol his name is basically Ice-heart because hes emotionally cold) robot called Ranger Z was such a success; that it generally stays flying around earth, protecting it from intergalactic threats. with the demand for that giant robot in space, the military thought it time to make a simpler mass production land mobile robot to police earth...........................................................................................................................I always pictured Dr Douglas as more a surfer hippie guy in the story, though i never drew him until now. i felt he was a more 'go with the flow' natural genius sort of guy. this being my first time designing him, i decided to make him a minority and with a humble smile, maybe a guy noone saw real potential in, a diamond in the rough. he looks visually different from what you would expect a scientist to look like and yet he has an immense IQ, a mind so great, he simply does not care how others view him, shrugging off criticism with a shy and childish smile; relaxed to the fullest, always. I thought he would be a great inspiration to others as a character being truly authentic to themselves despite others and their oppression or judging.
