This is a revisitation of an idea from 2011. It is an abbreviated version as the earlier working had a monopod, as I like to call it. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil. The colors are a bit off because of the scanner---the bird is actually a fairly bright yellow but it will have to do. Having to do is what Original Jones Art is used to here in northwest Austin, Texas.

NICE ONE...YELLOW..MELLOW YELLOW.....

Artist Reply: Well, Elton, you do remember what that Donovan song was about, right? Anyway, like I say, you do something frequently enough over a long expanse of time, you might just get a little better at it. I mean, if not then what's the point? Of course, it's entirely possible that pointlessness is 'IN' right now. I'm so hopelessly (and gleefully) out of touch. Thanks for commenting. :)

Just hope he doesn't get egg on his face Charles ??. Great work, as usual. Sorry l haven't posted anything the past few days, but have been having problems with my Artwanted account. Can sign in, but it will not allow me to see feedback, stats, or download anything.
