I've had a difficult time getting into the Holiday Spirit this year. Too much has happened and continues to happen that distresses me. I feel like I'm swimming in a cold black pool with only a waning moon to light the oily licking waves all around. Today I sent off my few Christmas cards that I make custom every year. Funny thing is, I've only received three cards to-date. I mailed fifteen. Seems sending greeting cards is so last century. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil. It's not so much the scream of nature as what should be humanity's wail of sorrow. It's Original Jones Art waiting out the end of the year with minimal gusto in northwest Austin, Texas.
