Artist Reply: I appreciate your comment, Vernonette. I started sketching at age 6 or maybe before. I always had paper, pencils, crayons, and drew cartoon characters from the Sunday funnies. I did caricatures of family members, but didn't know it had a name at the time. :D A friend asked me about art classes in school, but we had none, so I never had formal training.
