I wrote a poem many years ago about a child with eyes so blue people mistook them for the sky. That poem could have influenced this piece or it could be about what I'm currently seeing that I wish I weren't. Could be a toss of the coin. Nice thing about art is that the folks who view this piece may get something totally different from it. I think that works too. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil. It's today's addition to Original Jones Art as he contemplates in solitude in northwest Austin, Texas.
