This ... is how I truly got kick started. The very 1st charcoal painting I did (outside of a classroom). Originally meant to simply add some pictures to bare walls while sharing a house with three other guys. Not much art there and the wallpaper was hideous. Ha. Thought this might look ok. My eldest brother took a look and instantly wanted to put me in touch with someone he knew in the art scene. My brother now "own" this piece - which is a really great thing to know.
