A gull in flight is a common sight and is usually so easy on the eyes. There are so many varieties in fact that most of us refer to them as Sea Gulls when in fact there is no such species. This gull depicted is a Laughing Gull shown with a black head of winter in Central Florida flying over Dunes Park near New Smyrna Beach, where I live. I have long enjoyed grab shots of flying birds as they pass over me as I walk along the board walk in the park or as I walk along the beach. Extraordinary examples of grace and beauty found in nature.
