oil on canvas To those of you who have not been following this work { a series of pre-raphaelite inspired graphite and paintings} as a "work in progress" from a previous painting post please note that this Waterhouse as well as Tadema etc and all very well documented I go out of my way to do so. To imply as the reviewer has done that I have simply stolen an image and called it as my own is not only petty but shows a very misunderstanding of my art and my clients. Anybody fool enough to do one of the most famous pre-Raphaelites and claim it as ones own is truly hysterically dumb and the re-viewer would either have an extremely limited art knowledge or be living in a cave.

I also did "lady of shallott"!! It's neat to see someone else's portrayal also. Great job! I love the colors! Did you notice the leaf in her lap?Mercilla Camacho 06 Feb 2005

I have a copy of the original J. Waterhouse painting, "Lady of Shallot". This is not original, but a copy, and should be labelled as such.Cyla McKaine 23 Jan 2005
