On the Journey of the Mad Magi #3

This painting uses the contrast between transparency and opagueness, with spatial contrast between color field and line. The major shapes in the painting are negative spaces created by curvilinear lines. Four circles advancing along a diagonal in the middle of the painting are collage elements of glued on to the painting. Their edges form lines that exist outside the visual plane but visually, inside.
