Two of my favorite words growing up were philosopher and poet---not philanderer or pundit, I hasten to add. One is a thinker who breaks down and analyzes everything and the other reorganizes and reorders the/his world with words. I have been described as a bit of both and, indeed, I did write verse from my teens into my late thirties. But during this time too I doodled a lot, in books, on napkins, on envelopes that I send to people I knew. Now I draw things out into the open where I can see and study them. Art is, as I am want to say, thought made visible. But it is emotion as well. This is a 6 by 4 inches gel pen drawing on medium bond paper and a philosophic example of Original Jones Art as he attempts to reorganize and rectify here in northwest Austin, Texas.
