Exploring Atlantis

A mermaid explores the recent ruins of Atlantis. She is in the remains of the bedchamber of the Atlantian Queen. The fresco is based on an actual historical picture from a palace in Crete, the city most likely to have spawned the Atlantis mythos. Painting done for the Enchanted Artists Bi-Annual Art Show; theme - Atlantis.
