Although I’m an industrial design student, we had a course called Footwear and Apparel where we learned a lot about almost every detail that Fashion Designers look into, such as the specific measurements and choice of garment according to a given theme. My theme called “Fabrics of Space” reflects on interstellar patterns, shimmery and holographic fabrics that are suitable for winter outings. The collection consists of both casual and formal wear. The color scheme is inspired by the stars and planets of the universe. Even the headwear and shoes were an integral part of this collection, ranging from knee-high boots to Bow-tie court shoes.
