Broken

While on a tour of Puerto Rico in the Caribbean, I was struck by the image of this fire plug, broken off from its pipeline, and seemingly, tossed aside along a stone wall, also in need of repair. There is a *always* a glimmer of hope, here seen in the few pink flowers, sprouting up to counter the brokenness of the scene. Image used in my 'Motivational Poster' series, with the following quotation: "I know what it is to be broken and in need of redemption." -- Kristin Armstrong
