Artist Reply: Hi Keith, thanks for your insightful and kind comments, you are right about the deeper meaning, if you look closely you will see the tiny back images are syringes and i have sewn the beads to then to convey the power of addiction as they represent people who are tied down to this terrible sickness, it is not from my own personal experience by the grace of God but from knowing others who suffer and as a general comment on this affliction.
