Soft pastel on Pastelmat board, 30x24 cm. Depicts Sustenhorn and high Alps looking towards noonday sun. A bit tricky to paint as the rugged, mainly green foreground strived to split from the relatively serene glacier and blue peaks and sky thus risking two separate paintings in one. Painted in layers, fixing each between with alcohol/water mix except the final layer that was left dry. Yellow- orange tints slightly exaggerated by the camera.
