“Hyperbole” means that something is overstated on purpose and not meant to be taken seriously even in election years. However - it still attracts more attention and gets taken too seriously when a media-rating focuses upon over-promoting social self pity while embarrassment can still be felt by both the sincere and authentic. “Hyperbolic humor” doesn't need to be mean. Such interpretations depend upon a sense of humor from both a cartoonist and viewer - because poorly crafted artwork and a mean sense of humor only cultivates violent avocados.
