A white picket fence & apple pie are memories of the early 1960's American middle-class. This particular backyard fence is even large enough to hold its owner's personal graffiti next to a neighbor's windows where she cools off her pies from the oven in the afternoon. The baking smells are enough to make the kids forget about their dad's baseball with Roger Maris's autograph on it - when they leave both it and their chores for the possibilities of warm apple pie.
