I had done a color piece on paper before, albeit on a Subway bag at lunch, so thought I'd try him out in acrylic. The other guy, Reneggade, seemed a likely choice to accompany Nester on his journey. This is a 12 by 16 inch acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas and another 2016 example of Original Jones Art from Austin, TX.

Abstract compositions tend to cause one to think of things other than the composition in front of them. This made me think of my last effort at plumbing which leaked all over some cabinets. Then I was a few years getting them replaced.

Artist Reply: Well, I can relate, Stanley. Photo-realism makes me wonder why, full-blown abstraction makes me wonder what and then there's celebrity and popular culture related 'art.' It just makes me wonder 'what the...' :) Glad you got your cabinets replaced finally.
