Envision this entity marching at the head of the parade to the sound of drum and fife. Could that be confetti? ;) This is a 12 by 16 inch acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas. Original Jones Art from Austin, TX, I think.

What a colorful character, my friend. I love this piece because one of my hats in life is one as a standard bearer, believing in the Yin/Yang of life, especially when I am doing my I-Ching meditations. Great concept, lovely lines and colors...and always love your satire within and without. And I agree with John that this, or another character would make a great children's book!! The Eclectic Satirist of Indy!!

Charles, How Awesomely Amazing this has been Captured The privilege goes to the Viewers! This would be so cool for a kids story book .

Looks like a sinus problem.

Artist Reply: Well you may be onto something there, Stanley. I did the original drawing while I was suffering with Cedar Fever here in Austin. It is also fairly obvious that 'the standard bearer' isn't overly joyous. Thanks!
