Whilst waiting for ref photos for up- coming commissions, I decided to start a series of drawings I have been meaning to do for a long time now. It was so freeing not having to make the drawing look exactly like anybody, and meant I was able to work much faster than usual. I will be tackling a few more images I have in mind, in the same style once I have got through the Christmas orders. She's on an A2 Bristol Board, done in graphite and charcoal.
