Border Collie and Chihuahua - Commission.

A recent commissioned piece. The reference photos were extremely dark, with the flash reflecting back so you could not see the eye details too well. I made the Chi slightly larger than life so she wasn't lost in the piece next to her big sister. Apparently she is tiny. ;) A3 Graphite and Charcoal on Bristol Board.

A Great Idea for warm Adornments! Marvelous!

Artist Reply: Thank you! Came out so well considering the lack of good quality ref photos! :D

BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL PENCIL WORK GEMMA...YOUR DETAIL IS TERRIFIC.. I'VE DONE SOME PENCIL WORK BUT LOVE OIL PAINTING.. I NEED TO GET BACK TO BOTH... HAVE A GREAT DAY.. KEEP THOSE PENCILS SHARP.. JOANIE

Artist Reply: Ah, thanks so much Joanie! I was recently given the gift of a heap of oils, linseed and a load of brushes by a couple of friends who mount and frame my work. I'd give anything to find the time to learn how to paint! I envy you. ;) Look forward to seeing more from you..and some pencil work haha. Much love! x
