This began as a sketch that looked somewhat like a bird walking like an Egyptian, though the painting finished differently. It is a 20 by 16 inch acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas. Original Jones Art. Addendum: This piece was chosen to hang in AVAA's Fall Show at Art Space Gallery, October 2016 in Austin, Texas. Addendum on March 20th, 2019: This piece has been sold and is on its way to Japan.

Sort of reminds me of a realty sign that they put out front of a building.

Artist Reply: I can see why you'd say that, Stanley. It does have a two-dimensional quality and those spindly legs remind one of the wire ones that push into the ground on those. Good eye. :)

Artist Reply: Thank you, Maria! This one could be accused of being slightly more decorative than average--for me. Hope you are doing great. :)
