Roseberry Silk

A silk rose and plastic strawberries are the subjects of this still life done in one sitting of about 9 hours with frequent "tea breaks". The rose is a study in how to give the illusion of white. Ballpoint/ink pens, 6.5" x 9" on illustration board; 1996.
