Artist Reply: Thank you for the positive response. Heru was actually the Egyptian name that the Goddess Isis called her son Horus by. I tried to give the eye a youthful appearance for that very reason,..and made the Iris silver, as it was believed that when Horus lost his eye in battle with his uncle Set, Ra healed him by making his eye the Moon. Silver is the color that represents the moon just as gold is the color that represent the sun.
