After getting my new art space in perfect order, I danced around it most of yesterday. With sketchbook in hand this morning, I sat down and started 'something.' This is the result and the inaugural image, you might say. ;) Yes, I'm well aware that the paper is a little thin for w/c, but I got carried away...again. It will probably be re-done. :) I used primarily watercolor with a little gel pen. Image area is 7.25 by 6.25 inches. Original Jones Art.

Fantastic work Charles!!

Artist Reply: Thank you, Dawson - Lynn James! That was just a little sketch that emerged without a lot of forethought. I find I work best when I let the right side run with the ball. :)

A Fantastic Unique Creation, Charles!!!!!!!!!! Looking forward to seeing Your Acrylic version! Big Hello from the Great White North!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Artist Reply: Ever since I gave up the felt-tips and moved to watercolor, I've had this problem with the paper--and I don't like thick coldpress on average. SO maybe moving back to acrylic is the next step, Chris. :)

I like it Charles !!!

Artist Reply: Thanks, Sam! I'm already working this idea again---I've got it outlined on an 11 by 14 canvas to do in acrylic. I used to paint exclusively in acrylic 'long long ago.' :)
