lovely painting and a great story!

Artist Reply: Thank you very much Sabina, your comment means a lot to me. The story is true and to this day I can remember him flying from my shoulder to the tree and back. It is hard to believe what a wonderful pet he was and all was accomplished with a little love and caring.

Wonderfully Done and Cute little Fellow

Artist Reply: Thank you John. I was 9 when I rescued a chick that fell out of his nest. I fed him and raised him and he turned out to be a beautiful bird. I used to wall down the street and he would shit on my shoulder. I ended up giving him to a writer in Bucks County Pa and the bird used to ride on the carriage of his typewriter while he was working. Even took up a full page of the Trentonian newspaper with pictures of me and Junior in it.
