If you don't add any unnescasarry thngis to it, and you are already going to be prepared with water resistant- waterproof stuff/ compression sacks, the MOLLE 2 is not a bad way to go. Cheap, easy to find made to fit parts for, easy to find makeshift replacement parts for. I have wanted for nothing since using mine. Only a couple of small additions to accomidate the particular gear I carry on multi day NorthEastern hikes.
