Winter Wonderland

Unusual sight where I live in the UK. I live in what is known as the Midlands, right in the middle of the UK. We are very lucky as we tend to be protected from bad weather ie; Wales from the west, Derby Dales from the North, Leicester and Anglia from the east and Cheltenham and Gloucester from the south. So this was a wonderful sight to behold, cold but fantastic

Artist Reply: Thank you Pamela for your great feedback. Makes me feel proud that an artist of your talent feels that my humble renditions are worthy of comment.

Wonderful photo Kevin...

Artist Reply: WOW Neil. Just been browsing your site, your pictures are awesome. I take it as a real compliment that an artist of your calibre would take the time to leave feedback on my poor renditions. Is see that you like military, I also doing like portraits of Arnhem Veterans. Was in the Airborne Engineers myself and did my last jump in Sept 2006 on to Ginkel Heath Arnhem/Osterbeek from a WW11 Dakota.

Just came back to my art after a lay off of several years. Started art classes, and also started doing acrylics as well as pencil portraits with a touch of acrylc colour

how beautiful, looks bleak but with a subtle pale loveliness, really draws you into the scene.

Artist Reply: Thank you for you feedback Ruth. Since I took this photo we have had the heaviest snowfall for a good 20 years, over a foot deep, with still more to come. Usually only get 2-3cm and that's in a bad year. Looking at some of your work I take your comment as a real compliment.
