Not all your whites are the paper, I'm very interested to find out what you are using so that your whites on fur are white and not grey as you get from gouche paints.
Artist Reply: Hi, I am just using Chinese white watercolor paint. It must be an opaque watercolor-Windsor & Newton but it doesn't say that on the tube. Hope this helps-Jean
