Gustav finds the courage to enter the city..

Excerpt from "Gustav"s Big Dream" written by William Kasper. Gustav moved carefully through the thick trees, following the strange noises as they gradually became louder. As he reached an area where the trees started to thin out, he caught a glimpse of a wondrous sight. Brightly colored buildings as far as his eyes could see, tall enough that they seemed to touch the sky. Gustav looked to the right, then the left, then up and down, and everywhere his eyes would go there were the brightly colored buildings of the Grand City. I don't the story line by I like the dark effect and how the figure stands looking through at the city.

Excellent contrasts between textures and between black and purpules.Gustav is looking at the outside world from his inside world.
