Thistles

Computer enhanced digital photograph. Some thistles that caught my eye while looking for wild flowers here in the Northcentral Washington desert. Some people don't realize that 1/3rd of this state is high desert and rain is actually rare! I sure love my digital camera (my Christmas gift to myself last year) in spite of the things I hate about it....like the delay between when I push the button and when it finally decides to take the picture. I am learning to anticpate!!
