ITS FUNNY, THE ARMY MANAGES TO FIND HELL EVEN IN PARADISE. THIS PIC WAS TAKEN ONE FROSTY MORNING ON MAUNA KEA ON THE BIG ISLAND IN HAWAII. THE SANDS THERE CAUSE LIPS AND FINGERS TO BLEED AFTER STAYING THERE FOR A FEW DAYS BECAUSE OF THE VOLCANIC GLASS IN THE DUST. AT NIGHT THE TEMP DROPS TO THE TEENS AND IN THE DAY LIGHT HOURS IT RISES TO LOW 80S. ELEVATION, ABOUT 9,000 FT.

Wow! what a description n story! I love this shot because it is so much more than a sunset of pretty color! Would be great to see more of your photography too. Hope U are ok n may I send my best to U. what a place to be!
