That’s right! Something Different This Way Comes in the form of a Spic-n-Span vintage Ford Roadster – Street Rod – Hot Rod – Rat Rod (no). This spectacular ride is no Rat Rod, but this custom definitely makes a statement as we make a pit-stop at our fave eatery up in the Texas Hill Country. I don’t know for sure if this rod is a 36, 37, 38 or 39 Ford Roadster but I do know this – it is likely the most beautiful car I’ve ever seen and I even like the color ~:0) Even ol’what’shername made the evening special by dressing for the occasion. It’s not everyday a girl get a ride in a magical conveance in this league. It’s not everyday a mad-cap hot rod photog gets a ride like this – just glad this ride was at night in that cool evening breeze and that the generous rains we’ve been having out our way held back on this fine day – Ha! Car’s got no top, so parking under an overpass or finding an awning at speed might have proven a bit harrowing! I’d tell u some about the mill in this rod but for the notion that I don’t care much how it works – I just drives ‘em ( and photographs ‘em when I can ) Here’s what I do recall about the power plant in this great yellow machine – it throbbed in the extreme and on occasion the telephone poles looked like a picket fence – Woo! Hoo! U may not own a rod in this league but one thing’s for sure. U can own a great looking 16 x 20 print of this bewdy for a limited time – - – we’re considering some other form of outlet for our pix like this one and they’re likely not to be available for long at these low prices – - – add some quality to ur life.
