Texas Midnight Hauler

I promise, I believe this truck has been powder coated! The paint was thick and had that orange peel texture one sees on that sort of paint – it was nice – mostly. At the Boerne Corvette Show this month was a bevy of bewdies – this Ford Truck with the name I gave it of Texas Midnight Hauler was me fave ~:0) Yeh I know the car show’s name has Corvette in it and Chevy didn’t make no stinking Corvette pickup truck in the thirties – ack! If I hear that said or see it written one more time my head will explode – Ha! Out of all the Corvettes at the show and there was row after row of them (all exactly the same I might add) I did not get a single snap of one of them. My hot rod interests lie elsewhere as attested to by the VivaChas website – doesn’t mean there aren’t any newer type rides there – it’s just that I prefer a rat rod – hot rod or custom to a showroom Corvette. Anyway, we set up all sort of mad contrivances to control the light at this shoot with some little success. Shot bracketed multiple exposures so I could create an HDR image of this Texas Midnight Hauler and used a piece of software with which some of U are familiar to stitch it all together and deal with layers or layers – very much the photo and post production adventure as always here at VivaChas! – go take some snaps U lot! ~:0) VivaChas! BTW – the High Resolution Photograph has detail and clever bits that will knock Ur socks off – if Ur wearing sox – U gotta own a print of this one – click “Buy” to check the prices – U’ll be surprised ~:0)
