I have decided its time to change direction for a spell. I had the task of photographing a huge collection of Barsony ceramics as we sold them to make in our garage. Barsony black lady lamps, figurines and wall plaques come in many different forms and are highly collectible. These "Black Ladies" as they are known were once a part of the modern retro Australian household of the 50's and 60's, before losing favour and being relegated to the garage or the attic, where they gathered dust until the retro renaissance gave them a high value to the collector. I have decided to do my own retro revival of these beautiful ladies, by applying filters to some of the many that I have captured on film.
