this is spectacular!! how long did it take? am guessing he's part of the stump he's on?
Artist Reply: thanks. He took about 20 hours and I put him on top of the stump just for the picture. The stump/table is actually the base of a pine tree turned upside down and I sanded the edges round. This guy alone weighs about 70 pounds.
