LoneStarBeer

Yeah this is a thought – this sign advertising Lone Star Beer (the national beer of Texas – sez their adverts) is mounted on the ceiling of what I believe to be “The Beer Joint” at Luckenbach, Texas. With that in mind I created this pix as my interpretation of what one might see after a few too many – Ha! I joke of course b/c as everybody knows good beer does not inebriate – it clears the mind so that the drinking may then focus on what’s important – that naturally enough being members of the opposite sex. It’s a proven fact that the more fine beer imbibed, the better looking members of another gender become as the night – or day as the case may be – presses on. With that thought held firmly in mind I give you my interpretation of the LoneStarBeer sign on the ceiling at The Beer Joint in Luckenbach somewhere in the Heart of Texas sometimes known as The Hill Country – which is where the cattle find their range – which is their home – thus inspiring the immortal song – Home on the Range – BTW there actually are Antelope there as well – - – VivaChas! ~:0) Oh! Almost forgot to tell you about the pock-marks all over the sign. Many of you will need no explanation about all those rusty little stars patterning over the face of the sign, but some may find it a mystery. We did this back home as well and I’m glad to see the tradition is apparently universal in its appeal. Yeah – nice shotgun blast pattern across the sign – nice one too. You know too symmetrical and it could spoil the aesthetic, but this shot coming across at an angle made for an especially nice pattern – real bewdy - hey while ur at it google VivaChas! ~:0)

Wouldn't mind one myself. Nice Chas!

Artist Reply: I've found another one I like - Shiner Bock here in the States Ted, but must say a Cold-One of anything would go down nicely ~:0) - Haven't found the fourecks here yet - be best just to stick to draft while I'm here so many choices, we found a Grocery chain here in Tex called HEB - they're the founder's initials, but long story short bottled beer less than a buck a throw!!! Woo-Hoo! - so naturally we're thinking of staying in Texas - like it here! - - - VivaChas! ~:0)
