Because no matter what, I always seem to own at least one dog who spends all his waking moments (and I expect a few sleeping ones as well) devising ways to escape. Not to leave mind you--one can only go too far from that food dish you know--but to simply defy the system. One minute he is dozing in the sun the picture of doggie bliss....the next he is sitting right outside the fence in smiling innocence. The gate isn't open, there are no holes in the fence, in fact, there is no way caninely possible to get out, yet there he is....again...mocking me.... Original 4 x 6 gallery-wrapped mini painting in the private collection of S. Cannon.
