Amara and the Book

Amara returns! This is a very special painting, as she's going to be featured in an upcoming book of short stories. This is a portrait of Amara, a Polynesian / Hawaiian type of fairy creature - also known as a Menehune - Amara is a name meaning "Paradise". Here she is in the tropical forest, tiki gods blazing, with a sacred book.... you'll have to wait until the story is published before you'll know what's in there! My own original acrylic painting. ©Jasmine Becket-Griffith - prints are available at http://www.strangeling.com and http://zazzle.com/strangeling*
