Humans are not truly created equal. We see evidence of this everyday. There are humans born who truly are empty husks waiting to be filled. Unfortunately, they fill themselves rather indiscriminately. And there are others who have just enough content to maintain some semblance of normalcy. And then there are those who are filled to the brim upon popping out and seeing planet earth for the first time. These are the folk who need room for expansion. The skull is just too small. So they draw, paint, write, compose music, dance. Any endeavor to let themselves out of that cramped space. Too bad so many are perfectly comfortable in that tiny hidey-hole. And no wonder so many of us feel isolated and alone. This is a 9 by 6 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on lightweight acid-free paper. Original Jones Art knows that long face all too well here in northwest Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: Girlfriends come and go. Uh, mostly go. Only you or I remain, Ray. Until we're phased out by Father Time. But don't let that rain on any parade you are experiencing presently in Washington. ;)

Wish I had a labyrinth , I'd take that long walk right now just to empty my head. Great expression here Charles , works perfectly with the title . Hope you're getting more comfortable weather out there : )

Artist Reply: Well, watch out for minotaurs, Dave. I hear labyrinths are their favorite haunt. Temperature is dropping slowly. Much better after nightfall though. Thanks!
