This is my first piece for 2007 since I finished it today. This is commissioned piece of a house with a history. The songwriter Walter Donaldson (1893-1945) once owned this beautiful home in Fort Myers, FL and he wrote the song "My Blue Heaven" in this house. My client who commissioned this painting owns this home now.

Artist Reply: Thank you so much Susan! When I drove to the clients home the morning that I was thinking about how to make the driveway more appealing and I thought I could wet it down first and the client loved the idea. It turned out that wetting the driveway makes for very nice pictures! The client thrilled when she was given the painting yesterday.
